Speaker 1: Today in our 2017 view work and vision, we're gonna be test fitting the Yakima Hold Up Two Bike Platform Rack for Two Inch Hitches, part number Y02443.We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. This bike can tilt away from the vehicle with both bikes still attached to gain rear hatch access. To do that, there is this pin towards the center here. Now, this can be a little difficult to get to when you have both bikes already attached, but holding on to the end here, we'll push up, pull out on the pin and let it come towards us.In this particular case, we do have full access. However, I would like to point out that with these handlebars measuring from the center out, we have about nine inches of clearance. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Buick Envision, we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Trailer Rider 2 Bike Rack for inch and a quarter and two inch hitches. Part number HR200.We already have our bike installed on the rack, let's take a closer look, and show off some of the features. How the bike is attached to the rack will have three points of contact. We're going to have two hook and loop straps, to go around our tires on each side. And then we'll have this padded frame hook up at the top, and it is padded to ensure that the frame of your bike doesn't get any scratches on it once it's being installed.Going back to the wheel cradles, they are adjustable by loosening and tightening these knobs, and this is to accommodate bikes of different sizes, and to help out with loading as well. We already have a bike installed on the rack, so let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. A more prominent feature of this bike rack is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle, with both bikes still attached. Now, it can be a little bit tough to get to the switch here, when both bikes are attached, but you come to this point, you lift up like so, releasing it, and let it come towards you, holding onto the bike rack, never the bikes.Now, we have full access to our rear hatch. As you can see, we have plenty of space on either side, to come in and get what we need as well, and plenty of clearance between the hatch itself and the bike itself. more

Malone Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Buick Enclave- Video
Today on our 2014 Buick Enclave, we're going to be test fitting the Malone Pilot 4 Bike Rack for number MPG2112-2115. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. One of the more common features about this bike is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with all four bikes still attached so it can have rear hatch access. To do that, we'll come up to the front here, snap this loose, and lifting up on the rack a little bit, we'll remove the pin completely. You'll notice with that pin removed, it still doesn't fall. That's because there is a catch up at the front here to prevent it from falling so you don't have all that weight coming down at you at once, and you have time to come back here and get a decent grip. more

Today on our 2014 Buick Enclave, we're going to be test-fitting the Malone Pilot Two-Bike Platform Rack for 2-inch hitches, part number MPG2112. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. One of the more prominent features of this bike rack is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with both bikes still attached, so we can gain rear hatch access. To do this, we'll come up to the front, lift up slightly, pop the pin loose, and you'll notice that even though the pin is loose, it's not coming down. It's a safety feature where they have a catch up at the front, so once you do remove that pin, all that weight's not coming down on you. You can get a better footing. So, pull out, and let it come down, and now we have rear hatch access. more

Malone Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Buick Enclave MPG2124- Video
Today on our 2014 Buick Enclave, we're going to be test fitting the Malone Hanger 4 Bike Rack for 1 1/4" and 2" hitches. Part number MPG2124. We already have our bike installed on the rack, so let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. The bike is held into place at two points. We're going to have a strap off to the side here which is going to be the anti-sway cradle, that's going to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth and making bike-to-bike contact. Then we'll have this one up at the top as well to hold it in place. The cradles are adjustable, back and forth and side to side, and can be tightened down with these bolts in the center here. We also have two reflectors on the ends of the arms as well, for better visibility at night. The mast has a couple of features, one of them being this pad here in the center, and again, that's to protect your frame of your bike, should it make contact with that, there won't be any scratches or abrasions. more

It has a nice raised shank here so even if your hitch does sit low to the ground, you're not going to have any clearance issues. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. more

The first one I'd like to show off is the fact that this can tilt away from the vehicle with the bike still attached so you can gain rear hatch access. To do that, we'll come up to the front here to this red knob, lift up slightly, pull the knob out, and let it come down, holding onto the bike rack. Unfortunately, with how far the hitch sets in, we're not going to be able to open up our hatch entirely because it will make contact with the handlebars there. To lift it back up to its original position, just lift up until you hear the click. more

First off, the cradles themselves are fixed in these position, but they do have grooves in them, so once you sit your bike in place, the cables for the brakes and such can actually fit into these grooves and not get smashed against your frame. We're first going to show you one of the key features of this rack. We're going to come here to the back and pull out on this lever that's going to be underneath the main portion. That's going to allow us to tilt our bike rack away from our vehicle with our bikes fully loaded. A great feature is that we do have that handle easily accessible at the very back of our bike rack. You'll see we've got plenty of room in between the bike-rack handles and our vehicle, or, excuse me, the bike handles and our vehicle to get anything in or out that we may need. more

Now before we release the frame hook you want to make sure you're holding onto the bike so it doesn't going falling into the vehicle once you release it. more

Today on our 2014 Buick Enclave we're going to take a look at the Thule Roadway 2 bike rack, part numbers TH-912-XTR. We'll have a bike on the rack and we have the rack hooked to our vehicle. Just going to show you a few features of it: now how we have our bike strapped down to our back rack, we have a total of 3 straps. We have 2 up top, the one to the side is our anti-sway strap, so we're going to go ahead and remove the 2 up top first, then we're going to remove the anti-sway strap, then if you're loading your bike you just do it the opposite way. You put the anti-sway strap on first, then the 2 up top. We're going to take our bike and set it off to the side. more

Today on our 2015 Buick Enclave, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Vertex Swing 4 Bike swing-style bike rack, part number TH9031XT. As you can see we already have a bike installed on our rack so you'll get an idea of what it would look like with your bike. First things first, we'll show you that swing feature. So you'll come down to this big knob here and loosen that up. And once it's loosened all the way it will kind of fall out of place like that, but it won't actually come out so no worries. Before you pull that all the way out, pull out this pin which is kind of a safety at this position anyway. Then you'll pull up on this pin to bring it off the platform. more

SportRack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Buick Enclave sr2403- Video
Today on our 2015 Buick Enclave, we're going to be doing a test fit of the SportRack Vista 3 Bike Rack, part number SR2403. As you can see, we already have our bike loaded onto the rack so you can get an idea of what it would look like with your bike loaded on there. To start off, we'll get a few clearance measurements. The closest part of our rack to the back of the Buick is going to be right down here at the bumper and that's going to be about a quarter of an inch. Overall we've added just about 26 inches of length to the back of the Buick. Our ground clearance to the bottom side of the Vista will be about 16 and a half inches. To attach our bike to the Vista, we've got three straps. Got two frame straps up top. more

Today on our 2015 Buick Enclave, we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Traveler 5 bike rack part number HR9200. It's going to have three straps, two that'll go over the top tube of your bike and then one that'll go around the down post, or the seat post. The down tube, rather. Hollywood Racks Traveler Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Buick Enclave HR8500- Video
Today on our 2015 Buick Enclave we're going to be doing a test fit of the Hollywood Racks Traveler 4 bike rack, part number HR8500. As you can see we already have our bike loaded up onto our rack and it's worth noting that this rack is recommended for just Class II and III hitches, so that's inch and a quarter and two inch. We'll start off by showing you how the bike goes on to the rack. It just has these rubber straps here at thee top. There's two in the top that'll go over your . top tube of your bike frame and then one that's going to be done on the down tube. That's the anti-sway strap. This keeps the bike in place so that it reduces the amount of sway back to front. more

Today on our 2015 Buick Enclave we're going to be doing a test-fit of the Swagman XTC-4. This is going to be your platform-style, four-bike rack, part number S64665. This bike rack does come with a two-inch shank for your two-inch adapters or your two-inch receivers only. It also attaches using an anti-rattle bolt with a lock. Let's go ahead and get a few measurements to start it off. Our closest distance would be our first measurement, and that's going to be from the point down here on the wheel cradle at about a half an inch. Overall distance that we've added to the vehicle, about 7 inches. more

Today on our 2015 Buick Enclave, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Vertex. This will be your hanging-style four-bike rack, part number TH9029XT. As you can see, we've already got our bike up here so you can see what it's going to look like once you have it fully assembled and on the back of your vehicle. Note that this bike rack does come with your inch and a quarter shank as well as your 2-inch adapter, with a 3/4 inch anti-rattle bolt to help reduce a lot of the sway, rattle, and wobble that you would normally have. Now, if you do decide to put this on a class 1 receiver, just keep in mind that you're only going to be able to carry up to 2 bikes, and that is per your class 1 hitch weight specifications. Let's go ahead and start off by getting a few measurements. Our closest distance will be down here where the flange comes out towards the bumper at about 2 inches. more

SportRack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Buick Enclave sr2415- Video
Today on 2015 Buick Enclave we're going to be doing a test fit of the Sportrack Ridge Swing. This is going to be a hanging style four bike rack that's going to have that nice swing away option, to get it out and away from the backside of the vehicle, so you have full access to anything that you may need. This is going to come with a 2" shank only, and it will attach to our 2" receiver, or Class III receiver, using a 3/4" anti-rattle bolt. The anti-rattle bolt will also assist in keeping the sway rattle and wobble to a minimum, which we will show you here in a moment or so. Let's go ahead and start off by getting a few measurements. This is going to be part number SR2415. Our closest distance will be the most likely place to make contact if the rack we're to come in too far at about 3 5/8". more

Today on our 2015 Buick Enclave, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Swagman Trailhead. This is going to be a hanging style four bike rack, part number S63380. As you can see, we've already got a bike up on our platform so you can see what it's going to look like once you have it fully assembled and in place on the back of your vehicle. Note that this bike rack does come with an inch and a quarter shank as well as a two inch adapter so it can be used with your class one, two and three receivers. Just keep in mind that if you plan on using it with your class one receivers, that you're going to need to know the weight of your bikes as well as your weight specifications that you can carry with that class one receiver, you're going to be able to carry up to two bikes. All right, let's go ahead and get a few measurements to start this off. Our closest distance will be first, it's going to be about three inches from the back of the bumper to this point here where it would make contact if it we're to come in too far. more

Pro Series Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Buick Enclave- Video
Today on our 2015 Buick Enclave we're going to be doing a test fit of the Pro Series Q-Slot. This is going to be your platform style, 4 bike rack, part number PS63138. As you can see, we've already got a bike up on our platform so you can see what it's going to look like once you've got it fully assembled and in place on the back of your vehicle. This bike rack does have a fold away position to where we can access our hatch, but it does not have a tilt position nor does it stow up against the back of the vehicle. Yakima FullTilt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2011 Buick Enclave- Video
Today on our 2011 Buick Enclave, we are going to do a test fit on the Yakima Full Tilt. This is a folding and tilting four bike rack. They've designed it so we can use it with inch and a quarter or two inch hitches. Part number on it is Y02462. Now this is also available on a five bike configuration that part number is Y02463. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. As we do, we are going to want to see the small silver pin appear in our hitch pinhole. more

Saris Bike Porter Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2011 Buick Enclave- Video
Today on our 2011 Buick Enclave we're going to be doing a test fit on the Saris Bike Porter. Now this is a folding and tilting 4-bike rack. They've designed it for use with 1-1/4" or 2" hitches. The part number on it is SA404B. Now this is also available in a 2-bike configuration; part number is SA402B. To begin our test fit we're going to slide the shank of the rack right into the receiver tube of our hitch. As we do this we're going to want the threaded pinhole to line up with our hitch pinhole. more

Thule Helium Aero Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2012 Buick Enclave- Video
Today on our 2012 Buick Enclave, we're going to test-fit the Thule Helium Aero. This is a folding and tilting two-bike rack. It's been designed for use in 1.25-inch and 2-inch style of hitch. Its part number is TH9042. To begin our test-fit, we're going to slide the shank of the rack right under the receiver tube of our hitch. As we do this, we'll hold out on the black pin that's attached to the side. Once we have our pin holes lined up, we'll allow that pin to fall into that hole. Well then tighten down the black knob. more

We have about 16 and a quarter inches of ground clearance. The closest for another bike rack to the rear of our enclave is about half-an-inch, and weve added about 13 inches to the overall length of our vehicle.Well pull the lever at the top of the mast to swing out our dual arms. more

Now with our Thule Apex secured to our Enclave, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about 17-1/2" of ground clearance at the rear of the bike rack. The closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of our Enclave is at the rear bumper, about 1" away, and we've added about 11" of overall length to our Enclave with the Thule Apex secured. We can now pull the gray lever at the top of the mast to swing the cradle arms out, and with the cradle arms out we've added about 35" to the overall length of our Enclave. more
